Matthew Horgan

Matthew was fortunate enough to start his career working on the 130+ year old iconic Sugar Loaf Lighthouse located on the mid north coast. Matthew’s trade career started when he commenced a formwork falsework apprenticeship in the commercial sector.

Since then, Matthew has supervised work crews around Australia, building some of the country's largest and most technical concrete structures in mining, civil, residential and commercial sectors

Matthew provides extensive knowledge in formwork falsework systems and methodologies that apply to these systems.

In 2016 after 11 years of industry experience Matthew commenced a Bachelor of Construction Management and Building at the University of Newcastle. Matthew’s thirst for continuing his professional development enables him to be at the forefront of the industry

Matthew thrives on providing practical solutions to the most technically challenging construction scenarios.

Mathew Edwards

Mathew began his construction career in 2004 undertaking a carpentry apprenticeship. Starting out in the residential and commercial sectors before moving into the resource sector working in remote locations throughout Australia.

Mathew's keen eye for detail made him a sought after commodity and he took up an opportunity to work in London where he supervised high end residential builds for high profile clients.

In 2016 Mathew returned home to Newcastle to commence a Bachelor of Construction Management and Building at the University of Newcastle.

With 15 years of experience Mathew's eye for detail is what sets him apart from the others. With construction running through his blood, Mathew’s vision is for Rubiks Built to become one of Newcastle’s leading builders.
